Garage conversions that feel like home.

Most garages hold bikes, boxes and very few cars. A conversion turns that space into a warm, bright room you’ll actually use.

Overview

The quickest way to gain a room

Because the walls, roof and foundations are already there, a garage conversion is usually quicker and more affordable than an extension. We insulate, damp-proof and upgrade the structure so the new room is as warm and comfortable as the rest of the house.

A typical conversion includes replacing the garage door with a matching wall and window, raising and insulating the floor, adding heating and electrics, and plastering and finishing the room ready to decorate.

Do I need planning permission to convert my garage?

Most integral garage conversions don’t need planning permission, but some newer estates have conditions that remove permitted development rights, so it’s worth checking. All conversions need Building Regulations approval, which we’ll help you through.

Most single garage conversions take around 2–4 weeks on site, depending on the specification.

Yes. We insulate the floor, walls and ceiling to meet current Building Regulations, so the room is as warm as the rest of your home.

If you’re losing the garage, we can also widen or extend your driveway to make up the parking — all in one project.
