Overview
More room without the stress of moving
Moving home means stamp duty, fees and upheaval. A well-planned extension gives you the space you need in the area you already love — and can add value to your property at the same time.
We handle the build from groundworks to the final coat of paint, working alongside your architect or helping you find one, and keeping Building Control in the loop at every stage. You get one team, one point of contact and a clear written quote before any work begins.

- Clear, itemised written quotes — free and with no obligation
- One point of contact from first visit to handover
- Tidy, respectful teams who treat your home with care
- Help with planning permission and Building Regulations

What we build
Extensions for every kind of home
Single-storey rear extensions
The classic way to create a bright kitchen-diner or family room that opens onto the garden.
Double-storey extensions
Extra bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs with more living space below — often the best value per square metre.
Side-return extensions
Turn a narrow, unused side passage into a wide, light-filled kitchen.
Wrap-around extensions
Combine rear and side extensions for a dramatic, open-plan ground floor.
Kitchen extensions
Room for an island, a dining table and wide glazed doors — the heart of the home, rebuilt.
Porches & garden rooms
Smaller projects that add storage, light and kerb appeal.

FAQs
Good to know.
Straight answers to the questions we’re asked most. Can’t see yours? Just get in touch.
Do I need planning permission for an extension?
Many single-storey rear extensions fall under permitted development, so full planning permission isn’t needed — but there are limits on size, height and position, and different rules apply to listed buildings and conservation areas. We’ll talk through your plans at the survey and point you in the right direction before anything is built.
How long does a house extension take to build?
A typical single-storey extension takes around 10–14 weeks on site, and a double-storey extension longer. We’ll give you a realistic programme with your quote so you know what to expect.
Can we stay in the house during the build?
In most cases, yes. We plan the work so the existing house stays usable for as long as possible, and we’ll warn you in advance about any days when you’ll lose access to the kitchen, water or power.
How much does an extension cost?
Every extension is different — size, specification, ground conditions and finishes all affect the price. We’ll visit, measure up and give you a clear written quote, free and with no obligation.
